Organizers keep the whole ticket price
Set your price and that is what you get for every ticket sold. Buyers pay a small booking fee and the card processing cost, both shown in the price from the start.

e-Transfer and cash
Let buyers pay you directly
How e-Transfer ticketing works →
Turn on “Pay you directly” for an event and buyers can book now, then pay you by Interac e-Transfer or cash at the door. The money goes straight to you, with no booking fee for the buyer and no card costs. No Stripe account needed.
- e-Transfer autopilot: forward your bank’s e-Transfer emails to Rallyvio, and bookings with the right code and amount are marked paid by themselves.
- Cash at the door: find them by name or booking code at check-in, take the cash, and admit them with one tap. Their tickets are emailed then.
- Tickets after payment: buyers get a reservation first, a reminder a day later if they haven’t paid, and their tickets with QR codes once paid.
- Unpaid bookings can be released automatically after the number of days you choose, so seats go back on sale.
Free for the first 25 tickets per event, with every direct-payment feature included.
First 25 free · $20 for tickets 26 to 100 · $30 per further 100
For example, a 200-person event paid entirely by e-Transfer pays $50 in total; a 60-person one pays $20. Card sales on the same event are separate: their buyers pay the booking fee at checkout, so they cost you nothing.

Paid by you, per event, only for tickets paid to you directly. Buyers are never stopped: when an event reaches a new step, you get a request to pay for that step, by card. Card sales keep their own booking fee.

Questions organizers ask
Can buyers pay me by e-Transfer or cash?
Yes, with “Pay you directly” on the event. That money goes straight to you; Rallyvio never touches it, so refunds of it are between you and the buyer. The first 25 such tickets per event are free; see the pricing above for larger events.
What if I take both cards and e-Transfers?
Each is priced on its own. Card buyers pay the booking fee at checkout, so card sales cost you nothing. Tickets paid to you directly count toward the e-Transfer steps (first 25 free, then $20 up to 100, then $30 per 100). Payouts shows any e-Transfer charge for each event.
Can buyers cover the e-Transfer charge instead of me?
Yes. Tick “Add a 40¢ fee per ticket” in the event’s e-Transfer settings. Buyers who pay you directly see it upfront, just like card buyers see the booking fee, and send it to you with their payment. A 200-ticket event collects $80 that way, more than its $50 charge.
What if a buyer’s card costs more to process?
Buyers always pay the price shown. International and some corporate cards cost more for Stripe to process; when they do, Rallyvio covers the difference from its booking fee, and you still receive your full ticket price.
With Fair returns, when does a buyer get their money back?
When someone else books the returned ticket, not when it’s returned. Until then it’s on sale (the waitlist hears first) and the buyer can take it back. Once it resells, the ticket price goes back to their card automatically; the booking fee isn’t refunded.
When do I get paid?
Payments go straight to your own Stripe account, which pays out to your bank on its regular schedule. For your first event, payouts may be held until the event has happened.
What happens if I refund someone?
You can refund from your dashboard at any time. Stripe keeps its processing fee on refunded payments, and we show you the exact cost before you confirm.
Where can I sell tickets?
Free events work anywhere. Paid tickets are sold in your local currency, in Canadian or US dollars today, with the same flat booking fee in each. More countries are on the way.
